Just sticking my recently found video of 'review of the season 91/92' onto DVD and was quite surprised to see the Arkells Stand without the seating at the front of it......

I totally forgot about how it used it look without the seats.

Just an observation I suppose, I've had enough of working today.

I've got one myself but could never work out if I liked it or not, a bit like army and navy sweets.

I've still got my home shirt from that season, sadly i can't seem to fit into it anymore!

I've still got the 'potato print' shirt.

Lost all the sponsors felt logo though.

Just to reinforce my complete lack of taste, I got one too and I still love it ! 9 potato prints V Brentford...happy days !

We should have a potato print reunion at a future game..... what an eyesore we'd make.

continuing on from my initial post, In my pile of Town videos that I'm DVDing I found a plain VHS cassette, on playing it I found it contains a 'recorded of the TV' full match of WBA Vs Swindon, from the 95/96 season?

Peter Thorne hatrick, Jan Aage, McMahon, Joey Beauchamp....big comeback etc.

Its funny 'cos its got the halftime ITV commercial break with loads of old ads, plus Gary Newbon and John Sillett....

1991/92 was a good season considering the mayhem from the fall out of 1989/90.

Hoddle could have taken us to the Play-Offs at the first attempt had it not been for the Walker gravy train at Blackburn.

Some cracking goals from Town during that season, Hoddle instigated such smooth build up play, pleasure to watch.

......Luther Blissets rangey strike for Watford at the County Ground was a cracker....

94/95 season towards the end, gave us hope we could pull out of the relegation mire, then along came Drysdale et al.

Have a look at Fjortoft's face after he scores at WBA.

He Looks terrible. McMahon had taken the life out of him.

I went to the WBA away game at the end of 94/95 - can't quite remember the score but it was a terrific game.

I always thought he looked terrible, because he knew he was on his way out of the club, and it was to MBoro.

I remember that game purely because when i went outside after to recreate the goals with my neighbour i stood on a wasp, barefoot. That hurt a lot.

Didn't he play at Derby mid-week after that game?  Adi Viveash scored for us.  I was there, and I think Jan was too.  I may be wrong, of course...it hasa been known.

I don't think I made that one. Just as well given I presume we lost at Derby as is traditional. Nice pointing by the great man at whoever was about to flog him on the cheap. *Sigh*

I really don't have enough of that season on file, I suppose it was a depressing time so I probably couldnt face recording endless defeats and McMahon excuses...
