I think he has about a 4/1 chance of placing.

Boylesports are paying out on top 6 for e/w bets. I suspect other bookies will follow, but I haven't really looked about.

Thank god I picked out Killyglen. Got him at 11/1 as well.

I'm going to follow the lead of the so-called experts on here do and just bet on the favourite :)

I've got Black Apalachi and Offshore Account in the DVDF sweep. Not completely hopeless as top 5 payout.

Each of them £10 E/W. In the last 5 years I've cleared about £400 profit. This year its pay back time.

How do you bring up a list of your pending bets on betfair?

My account>current bets>select matched bets from the drop down menu.

I've done about 9 but only at either 50p or £1 each way - big gambler me.  I haven't a clue wth horses so its all about the name :D

IS it starting odds that you get? There's no odds listed against the bets in my account and they're on the SP Placed tab, whatever that might be. I really don't know what I'm doing.

I don't use Betfair so don't know if you can fix the odds at their current price or not, you certainly can on my chosen betting site.

I notice that the BBC are now having to apologize as Claire Balding told Liam Treadwell (Mon Mome jockey) that now he could afford to get his teeth done :D I wish I'd seen his face at that point.

I heard that as well and thought it was a bit close to the bone!
