Go to http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/ Enter a major city in the US, UK Canada and several other countries and you can click on the little man on that city and you can view the house at street view instead of from sattelite.

i got this on my phone!its ace for about 6 seconds

there's an interactive one where you can walk the street by clickin backward and forward arrows as well.  We used it before New York last year to see how to get a few places we wanted to see but might have got lost trying to find, like our hotel.

Bit out of date on my place though, my porch isn't in the photo which was been up nearly a year now.

Actually it looks more like a twig.

Alright clever clogs....It is a stick which has intruded into the picture. It looks odd because it is so close to the lens and because the picture you see is a composite of several pictures stitched together [so the branch/twig/stick appears to be hovering in mid air]

Its cool i have been able to show Gianluca where his dad and i lived in Leamington Spa including where he lived himself when he was a baby.
