Title: Rail season tickets
Post by: strooood on Thursday, March 12, 2009, 12:06:19
Anyone got a rail season ticket for Swindon>Paddington?

How much am i looking at for about 5 monthsish.
Also do student railcards have any bearing on the price?

You can't get student/young persons discount on season tickets.

5 months is going to cost you £3,287.10 according to national rail.

Costs me about £3,400 a year from Farnborough, of which approx £400 covers Zones 1-6.  The price for Swindon to Paddington sounds about right to me.  Not cheap...but so much less hassle than the drive.
