Title: Cheap Laptops
Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, March 8, 2009, 14:05:07
Despite not buying a computer for myself or anybody else for about a decade. My mum's friend has decided that I can decide which cheap laptop she gets for her birthday.

Right. She'll only browse web and use word. So lowest spec cheapest is the order of the day. It seems that Dell add another £100 on there's if you want XP instead of Ubuntu now, and bollocks am I having the hassle of trying to explain to her why it's different or being responsible for installing a dodgy copy of XP.

So I've checked Dell and Dabs. I'm well out of date on this stuff so where's the easy websites for super cheap laptops?
