Title: Oops
Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 16:33:14
I got in trouble with my daughters pre school as she keeps singing We hate oxford. To be fair it was not a bollocking just asked to try and make her stop singing it all day.

I can't see a problem. You can't muck around with genetics. If I was in your shoes I'd be well proud of your daughter and I'd give yourself a big pat on the back for bringing her up right. Jolly good show all round.

DRS, your daughter is a star - you're clearly doing a fine job bringing her up.

Many years ago, my wife was working in an information centre, and a chap on the phone was giving her his address, when he got to Oxford, she said it took all her will power not to boo.  Well done, wife.

My niece's favourite song to sing along to is (an edited version of) "If I had the wings of a sparrow...."

she sing's that she'd have " the bum of a crow" and that she'd "poo on the people below....".  Her mum wasn't that upset when she told her that her uncle had taught her a secret song, and then come out with that!

I was impressed how quickly she learnt the words.

Fully agree with that.

Tee hee!

I got told off by my best friends mother in law as I was telling my friends daughter Lilly not to eat any more sausage rolls or she would get fat then she will never be a WAG!

That's brilliant.

(Sometimes, I do wonder if JFW is infact a blue-stocking spinster who's having a laugh.)

when my sister was at playgroup they did a charity fashion show, my mum helped organise, she asked my dad to do the lights and music, on the final catwalk when all the kids came out to take applause from proud parents, my dad played friggin in the riggy by the sex pistols through the PA.
