Title: Early LNT
Post by: BANGKOK RED on Sunday, January 25, 2009, 18:48:04
Well today I did nothing much, asides from getting bitten by my daughters Rabbit.

The rabbit is both black and a cunt, therefore I like to refer to him as "The black cunt". Does racism count if it is aimed towards a Rabbit?

Anyway, it is late (for me), and I have a man cold and so I am going to bed.

Goodnight!!

I just demolished a big portion of lamb shanks slow cooked in redwine with fennel and rosemary and shizzle, served up with heart attack mashed potato and cabbage.

I feel nice and content with a bottle and a bit of red wine left and enough cigarettes to keep me going.

Happy Sundays.

I've finally diagnosed my guitar amp problem and it shouldn't cost too much to put right. Need to do some work before I go to the office tomorrow but I'm really not in the mood.

My Day. Cleaned bedroom. Cleaned Bathroom. Washed up mess the wife made in the kitchen. The wife made more mess which I'm about to clean up. Tidied up garden. Did washing. Went down the beach at sunset, but the light was shit - took a few photos and I'll check 'em later.

Just scoffed a lovely chicken stew with yorkshires (topped out at 10cm.....), just need to clean up the kitchen carnage. Wine on tap......

Back to work tomorrow.....yippee!

haha. I always have problems with plane crashes in sim city as well. Best to only build light zones around the airport, stops the planes crashing into the buildings. Get on it quick with your fire brigade too.

I had 3 hours of cricket training, ate my flatmates left-over spag bol and now I'm very tired.

I have a suspicion I'm in the early clutches of a heavy cold.

Today was day one of my week off. I've sat around and done very little. Watched the 2 FA Cup games - both beyond dull.

Still, happy with my effort.

I woke up dehydrated and slightly hungover, did really move unitl 3pm then went and bought loads of nice food, olive bread, cold meats, salamis, blue camembert, mozarella, black olives, peppers, ardennes pate and had a massive deli style lunch.

I then went back to sleep and just woke up.

I woke up dehydrated and slightly hungover, didn't really move until 12pm then started work on Football Manager. Sacked that off and deleted my Man City game, then went for a jog up the fields which was hella muddy. Had roast duck for dinner and spent an hour making different shapes out of my IQ lampshade bits.

Am now pondering whether to watch Be Kind Rewind.

I am sat in my Barcelona shorts, eating some melon, and limerbing up my mind in preparation for tonight's long awaited return of LOST.

I am mostly looking forward to re-acquainting myself with Freckles.

yeah.never mind, thought you might know the area as a nearby resident.

Not that nearby I'm afraid......although sounds like it might be worth a day trip with Dunster Castle up the road and an abundance of fossils on the beach itself. Might be some good photographic material there.....

pumbaa.what is blue anchor bay like?

Blue Anchor Bay is OK...it is on the Bristol Channel, which isn't quite a proper sea.

But is starting to widen out..Blue Anchor also has a station on the wonderful West Somerset Railway...

You can do a virtual trip along the WSR on this website.

Oh and I made some hummus earlier...just had some, but it will be better for sitting in the fridge overnight.

I've never watched the Sopranos either. One of those things that I'll end up a buying a cheap box set of in a play sale or something.

I almost bought the complete Wire boxset yesterday but it was £100.

I like it down there, but I'm a walking man, so you've got the coast path from Minehead, Quantock Hills, Exmoor and the little visited Brendon Hills, which are real Somerset.

You can use the railway to get you to the start and finish of walks...mega ace  :)

Twas I. If anyone wants it I'll see about finding it again.

Went to Cardiff today with the girlfriend to see her brother - which in itself was alright but the bloody train journey felt like an eternity. Missed all the football too but as both games ended level I'm not too miffed.

Thought Cardiff would snatch the win, but it was dull. Liverpool vs. Everton only better because there were two goals.

I'm currently looking for places to go in Edinburgh - going there next week for mine and the good ladies 5th year of "going steady" :D

Started off the day in fine style watching my lad's Under 7s side win 10-1 (he kept a clean sheet first half but asked to be subbed at half time so he could go outfield), then my folks came down for the day, decent lunch out, fortunately not too expensive as I was paying, kids early to bed nice and early tired and happy, settling down with glass of red in front of FA Cup highlights. All in all a nice relaxing evening until I came on here and read this thread. Now the whole thing's ruined as I'm worried why arriba's buying his daughter dog food - let her eat with the rest of the family, man, that's not an appropriate punishment no matter how late she came in.
