Does anyone have them?

I have had the same sort of dream a few times over the last 6 or so weeks. It's horrible!

What was the dream. I few years back I kept having the same one over and over again.

Slightly different but same concept if that makes sense. Supposed to mean something is on your mind or something.

No, my sexual dreams are reserved for Mex.

I wasnt thinking about him in anyway until the dream started then weird things started happening...Like ppl i have not spoke to for years contacting me. Then last night i thought he had actually killed himself and come back to haunt me cos there were weird noises in my house and my son woke up crying ( which he never ever does ) cos he heard strange noises too, although different to mine apparently.  Im scared.

My sister used to have a reacurring dream that she was stood on the edge of a giant saucepan full of boiling milk. As she fell in, she'd wake up screaming.

My sister is a completely fucked up mentalist.

....yet!

My dreams were weird, I'd somewhere doing something then something would happen (a gun shot or a bomb would go off) and naturally I'd run.

Alot of people seem to have dreams where they try to run but cant, but I could run and I'd run bloody fast to get any from it. I'd run along the road or path or whatever then i'd get to the end of the road where it turns or splits off. I'd stop - decide which way to go and then run down that road and pretty much continue like that

I'd keep running down all these streets but never really go anywhere, like running around in a maze or something

Every 6 months or so I dream that I am about to sit my Finals and the gut-wrenching fear that that induces is horrible.  I'll then wake up to realise that I'm not about to sit my Finals, to great relief.

I sat my Finals in 1994.

I have dreams all the time where my teeth fall out or get knocked out etc.

Up until recent times, i used to dream at least once a week of being chased by just a dark mist across a corn field, until i fell into a massive dark hole. The fall would always wake me up.

I haven't had a nightmare for about 15 years, i can't even remember the last time i had one if i'm honest. I never have nightmares or recurring dreams, so i'm lucky. In fact i know i'm dreaming most of the time and do what i want like fly, breath underwater and sex it up. So there.

Well you should stop falling asleep during the game and you wouldn't be having these nightmares

Have you ever had a dream where a noise that has woken you up is actually part of the dream your having and that the dream itself seems to lead up to the noise that woke you up - almost as though your brain knew that noise was going to occur before it happened and built a dream around it...  it's happened to me a few times and always freaks me out

no, but randomly in my dreams I'll go off from whatever it is im doing and start looking for a toilet because I need a piss.

Naturally, then I wake up because I need a piss!

I'm the same. I used to have a recurring dream where I'd be stood at the top of the stairs looking down at my front door. My Grandma would walk in and then morph into some hideous rabbit-like monster and bound up the stairs as I'd run into my bedroom shutting the door behind me. Naturally the monster broke through the door and the proceeded to eat me.

I too have had conscious ability whilst dreaming. At first I used to hate nightmares so much I'd actually be trying to pry my eyelids open in my sleep to wake myself up. After a few years of having the same nightmare I just used to give up and let the monster eat me.

I've also had the 'sex it up' dreams where I could control what I did. They were great fun.

Yeah, it might come from bad dreams, because like you say i used to literally will my eyes open, and i also recall the whole monster eating me type scenario. I think that's probably why we don't have nightmares, not so much the fact we don't, but if something is potentially scary it's kinda fun, so you wake up having enjoyed it. I get a lot of espionage type dreams, something between Metal Gear Solid and something by Martin Cruz-Smith, they're the best. Of course, that's excluding dreams involving women that give it up without even being asked. :D

Thats normally associated with stress, particularly if your teeth crumble instead of fall out!

That sounds like a good dream!

One I get quite regually is one where I'm on holiday with a few mates and my friend ends up hanging from a cliff, It takes ages for me to reach her and by the time I get to her she slips and sort of looks at me really disappointed and drops into the sea :( It's the same friend that falls all the time too.

Also a very common one is when my teeth fall out into my hands.

This is a common dream amongst those who have a deep desire to be a big screen action hero. You should practice montage action sequences, learn to keep a straight face whenever someone mentions a 'three shells' joke and most importantly be able to end the cold war by fighting in Russia.
