Title: Chlorine Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 01:57:30 I wish I lived near a leisure centre so I could smell chlorine all the time. My second favourite thing in Swindon is walking past the gym towards Cineworld and getting a lovely big smell of the chlorine from the swimming pool there 8)
http://www.seppo.net/seppocartoons/images/chlorine.jpg My old man works for a company that sell swimming pools and stuff, I'll have to ask him to bring me some small samples to keep my urges at bay. Otherwise you may see me camping on Greenbridge. Title: Chlorine Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 02:01:31 I also like sniffing permanent markers.
Title: Chlorine Post by: janaage on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 09:36:16 I like licking my arm or hand after going for a swim, you know after a few hours or so, then getting the smell of chlorine. Nice.

Title: Chlorine Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 09:44:02 SY have you tried Milton Road Baths......chlorine aplenty in an authentic Victorian atmosphere.
In Station Road there is the Southern Laundry......which when you walk past, you got a blast of hot bleaching linen. I always associated this with away games and football specials when I was a kid through to youth..........to my knowledge its still there and still smelling. Title: Chlorine Post by: Marie on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:27:02 Best smell isn't chlorine its rain hitting the pavements in the summer!
Title: Chlorine Post by: Reg Smeeton on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:29:43 Quote from: "Marie" Best smell isn't chlorine its rain hitting the pavements in the summer! Title: Chlorine Post by: Sippo on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:41:46 Is it true that if you've got highlights, chlorine turns your hair green? Or is this just a myth?
Title: Chlorine Post by: DV on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:51:54 Just had that pavement smell had as I walked the dog in the rain....
Best one is freshly cut grass on a hot summers day 8) Title: Chlorine Post by: Marie on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:53:57 yeah i like that smell too
stfcfan, not exactly it depends. Chlorine can turn your hair green whether its dyed or not....depends on whether you was your hair thoroughly and with what you wash your hair with. It also depends on your hair. I have highlights and it doesn't effect my hair at all. Title: Chlorine Post by: janaage on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 10:53:57 Quote from: "stfcfan" Is it true that if you've got highlights, chlorine turns your hair green? Or is this just a myth? Think if you get in the pool too quickly after getting your hair dyed it'll go green. That what Mrs Jan said anyway. Title: Chlorine Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 11:10:13 petrol

Title: Chlorine Post by: Kinky Tom on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 13:05:03 Quote from: "Marie" nail bar stall? what does it smell of? nail varnish? Not sure, some days you can't smell anything, so perhaps it might be the glue that holds fakies on? Title: Chlorine Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 13:14:12 I think the smell of petrol is a horrible nauseating smell, can't understand why anyone likes it, try spilling some in your car and see if you still like it.
Grass is good though, don't like chlorine much. Chocolate has a nice smell. Bread is good too. Title: Chlorine Post by: Kinky Tom on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 13:21:05 I hate the smel of chocolate it makes me feel sick. I don't like chocolate anyway, but after living in Hull for three years where for some reason it smells of chocolate on some days the smell really affects me. The coffe bar at M&S smelled of chocolate the other day, it was repulsive.
Petrol is a nice smell, takes me back to the summers of '93,'94 and '95 when me and my mates would ride motorbikes on my field all day long, happy days. Title: Chlorine Post by: Piemonte on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 13:36:41 I like the smell of a nice clean minge on my fingers  :old:

Bit like camembert. Title: Chlorine Post by: sonicyouth on Thursday, May 19, 2005, 14:15:28 Chlorine is still the best with freshly cut grass a close second and summer rain following close behind.
