Title: Leeds away - 14 March
Post by: pumbaa on Monday, January 12, 2009, 10:10:30
Anyone going and planning to stay up overnight?

I'm planning to make a long weekend out of it, up Friday, back Monday, and spending a day or two in the Dales.

Where did people stay last year, and what are y'all planning for this year?

There's a load of us going up Friday coming back Sunday. We're staying at a hotel called Bewley's in the centre of Leeds. Stayed there last year and it's a nice hotel.

Surely if he plans to kop off with some dirty northern tart, he should have had the foresight to book a double.......but then again, its a step up from a caravan......

We stayed in etap last year, only about 30 quid for a room for 3, ideal.

Went Friday - Sunday, 2 very very messy nights.

I think all twins come with 1 double and 1 single bed but Im not sure!

Anyways if Axs managed to "do it in a caravan" Im sure he can master a single bed :D

I would love to take my Bayern Munich banner with European Champions 1975 written on it, but I doubt they would let me take it in.

I've decided I'm only doing two more away games this year, maybe 3. I don't have the money and the patience to watch any more than that. I would have liked to have done Leeds, but it's not really viable given the cost.

I'm not sure yet. If i'm going it would have to be for just the match and not the whole weekend.

Posh away has the ingredients of being a nightmare or a dream. Best scenario would be that they need a point to gain promotion/secure a playoff place and we need a point to stay up. Then we could all have a nice party in the sun - and Posh have terracing as well. If they need 3 points to go up and we still need points then I wouldn't fancy it much against their strike force.

Of course, it would be equally as nice if we have manufactured enough points not to have to worry about this sort of scenario!!
