Labour's new agenda. What was expected really. I do hope that we don't enter the euro though - could be a major cock up on Blair's part if we makes steps towards it. As far as the EU constitution goes I haven't yet formed an opinion

I'm really pro euro.  Makes quite a lot of sense econommicaly. I tend to look at the whole save the pound thing as a bit of out-dated 'we're better than the rest of europe blah blah blah rubbish'

I'm not sure it makes sense to go into the Euro though. I mean, won't we lose control over interest rates and such matters?

Yep we would. In practical terms it sounds a good idea that you could travel around europe using the same currency. Yet economically it makes no sense for Britain to join as the economy is fairing a lot better being out of it. In other words the countries in the euro zone need us a lot more than we them, this of course all being at the present time.

Yes we will Si-Pie, the whole of Europoe having the same interest could be an economic disaster.    European countries ecomomic structure, ie where each country get their revenue from, are to diverse to have a single economic policy in my opinion.
