Just wondering, has anyone been or got tickets to this?

Last time I went I was a kid but I really want to see the 3D Genie this year............

Im debating it but tickets are £20 a pop!

My lads going on Thursday. I'll feed back after then, though he is only 4 so may not give too much detail.

Wife took the grandchildren - reckoned it was one of the best pantos she had seen (never been to the CG mind you), youngest only 4, he joined in and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A woman at work took her kids to see this at the weekend, and even though usually she's prett hard to please, she said it was excellent and Barry from Eastenders was brilliant!  Well worth a viewing.

do you have a theatre in swindon? very advanced if so.

yes we have a theatre and a football league side too.

I've only seen one there when I was a kid and it was Cinderella. Matthew Kelly played Buttons and wished me happy birthday from the stage.

Luckily I didn't have to meet him.

Bought tickets for the 23rd, should be fun!

All the comments i've heard about it have been good, even people who didn't want to see it have said it was excellent and well worth seeing.

It's just too easy isn't it!

Who needs a Panto, when you can spend Saturday afternoon watching Town.

What's this 3d genie thing anyway?

You have to wear the old school 3d glasses and the genie's 3d.  The kids love it!

I went last year and saw Britt Ekland. I was having images of the Wicker man, boy was I dissapointed.
I went to the Art Centre to see the Stage Struck pantomime and it was excellent. Not sure if its still one but great value for money and I love the Art Centre -obviously being a cultural bloke myself from Park South and all that.

Well, went to this last night!  Shaun Williamson who used to be in Eastenders was very good, some good jokes thrown in!

I was amazed at the number of Swindon Town jokes he chucked in too!

"This is a Swindon Town bra - very little support and no cups"

And many more cheeky sod!  The 3d genie worked well too.  All in all was incredibly cheesy as a pantomime should be but nice to do something different and a bit more Xmassy!

I imagine Mr. Williamson and his fellow thespians is unaware of Swindon being the most successful team in the Wiltshire Premier Shield's history. What does he know :D

I went last last year but wont be going this year....last year some weird Danny La Rue lookalike kept shouting that it was behind me....ended up at the hospital with a cricked neck and had to have popcorn and ice cream washed out of my eyes.

Took my eldest to the matinee yesterday, he loved it, especially the 3D stuff, but he was cracking up at Window Twankey too. And Barry was a lot better than I expected. Good panto.
