Anyone else going to watch it??

My brother grew up in the Star Wars era and it was because of him I got into it. The first two prequels were pretty much awful, I give you that, but this one will be sh!t hot.

If you aren't a Star Wars fan you won't really understand it but there is a lot of fights :)

It's very long but you can get an overall picture from reading just tiny sections, Lucas may be crap at dialogue but from the look at this one he's done very well to join it all together.

I've got Ska Wars by Rico which is ace......wont bother watching this film, as I haven't bothered watching the other two because by all accounts they're crap.

Did you watch the original 3?? If you did and you enjoyed them it will be worth watching this one  :D

Part of my childhood the original Star Wars.

Far to much screwing around with the last two prequels but by all accounts this one should be worth a look.

I did watch and enjoy the originals.....but that was quite a long long  time ago in a galaxy far away.

The prequels were wank, but when the originals were re-released I loved them. I had loads of Star Wars toys, I've still got them 8) I used to play in the garden with them.

I'll watch the new one but just because I love Natalie Portman.

Damn right I'm gonna see it, this could very well be the best in the entire series, because it has to be so dark in it's content.

The girl i work with is going to see this at 1am on Wenesday night/Thursday morning. She wants to be the first to see it.

All i can think of is how sad she is.

I was proper geeky at the weekend and watched the cartoon that links episode 2 with 3. Have to say it was pretty good after a bit of a  :doobie

I didnt think attack of the clones was that bad. Certainly not as bad as the phantom menace anyway.

Phantom was the biggest let down in cinematic history. All that hype and what for, nowt.  The second one was average, hopefully the improvement will continue with this one.  Does anyone know if those kids were queuing up at the wrong cinema in America?? The kids who started queuing back in February.

I'll wait till they are all out on DVD and just spend a whole weekend watching them all in order....

I'm still yet to see Attack of The Clones - I must admit after the shameful Phantom Menace it put me off. Revenge of The Sith looks awesome though so I think I will watch episode 2 this weekend and episode 3 after the exams. The originals were all gravy though

I will, hoping to get tickets ASAP.

My t'other half took me to see Closer at the cinema, and has just bought it on DVD.  If you like Natalie Portman, then you'll love that film!

Booked my tickets online this afternoon, so I phoned the missus to tell her we were going out tonight... to see Star Wars...

just seen it, not bad although mcgregors acting is a bit crap, there was people dressed up like leia and luke in the audience :D

Damn good film, infact maybe even the best of the lot...

Tied up the loose ends very well...

Would agree that some of the acting was a little poor, but hey this is Star Wars and not some real life hard hitting drama.  For once I agree with our local tory friend, it was a damn good film.  Defo best of the prequels!!  Loved nearly every minute of it.

Just can't wait for Episode IV - A New Hope,  to come out now, anyone know when it's getting released?

I heard they played with each other light sabres all the way through the film, dirty boys.  If tha got out JT it could do wonders for your political career.

Maaaaaan that is an awesome end to en epic story.

The only reason I can think of him not recognising him was that he had changed his name to ben canobi and was in hiding so had to keep it quiet (although the only people around were those little furry things so i think he was being over cautios

That's a killer if they don't tie that nugget up.  I thought they had their memory wiped or something along those lines.  Maybe it's because he was an old man in the first one and the little bugger in a new hope did say he was the property of Ben Kanobi.

I'm so pleased I have an outlet for this sort of thing rather than in public.

DVD arrives Monday  8)   will go for the cinematic experience on this baby though.

C3PO had his memory wiped. Thats why he doesnt remember. But Obi Wan says "Thats funny, Ive never owned a droid" (I just checked). Although you could argue he never actually owned R2. He spend most of the time with the red one (R4?). But you'd think he'd look pleased to see him at least.

Another odd thing. They try to hide Luke Skywalker from Darth Vader by... hiding him on the planet he is from. DUH!

I think he does, but he works around the truth because he doesn't want Luke to know his past.
