I fancy Pacquiao, can't really see the point Oscar fighting now, he's got nothing to prove, it's almost like Hatton 'cos they both got beaten by the best have beaten everyone else.

That said MP's very under-rated in a lot of circles, fancy him on points.

De La Hoya didn't only get beaten by Mayweather though, he's lost five times now I think, including twice to Shane Moseley.

I see that point but i dont understand how Pacquiao is underrated?

Anyway, i just think that there is no better in the sport at preparing for fights, at making sure that he couldnt be in any better shape/mindset to get into the ring. whether or not that has been affected by all his promotional stuff remains to be seen but i just think he will be too much for Pacquiao. Rarely do cross-division title fights go the way of the lighter.

On another note, anyone watching Froch? one of the most enthralling fights in memory, pure quality.

I don't think you could look past Calzaghe, yes he's gone down early in his last 2 fights but he's got good punch resistance. Mind you Froch's just shown the same, and niether are the biggest of big punchers... I'd certainly say it would go the distance so you'd have to back JC. What do you reckon?

Calzaghe is never fighting at SMW again, never mind against someone as one dimensional as Froch. Good fight earlier though.

As good as he is, I would be amazed if Pacman can overcome the size differential. He'll be soft, and DLH was ripped just to make the scales (the accuracy of which is under question as it is)! I reckon Oscar will be 10lbs heavier in the ring, which puts him another weight category up again.
