I know it's not the most original idea for a TV show but FUCK ME! I watched a couple of episodes the other night and believe me I have been round the block a few times and I love the ale but I was pretty taken aback by some of the antics on that show. For those of you who have seen it, I'm talking about the group of about 20 or so Manchester lads in Riga (I think..could have been Tallin..somewhere out that way) It was a stag do and they were all dressed up in these Richard Gere, Officer and a Gentleman type outfits and the 'stag' I suppose you would call him was dressed up as Borat in his green thong from whatever film that was. Anywhooo...one thing led to another and it all got very messy and they were filming these lads in the middle of Riga/Tallin/wherever and they showed one lad pissing in his mate's mouth (That's right pissing) The bloke whose mouth was being pissed into was not unconscious on the pavement (not that it would have been ok if he was) no, he was there with his mouth open going "Ooooh go on, let's have it" or words to that effect. Loads of other stuff happened as well. They were pissing over each other in a night club as well..it was just cringeworthy. I've done some dumb stuff in my time but that really did cross the line in my view. If I was that bloke who drunk his mate's piss and I saw that on TV (presumably I would not have remembered doing it at the time) I would be fucking distraught and would vow never to drink again. I would be really interested to know how he did react. Am I turning into Hyacinth Bucket or is this behaviour abroad (I know it goes on here as well) a total disgrace and an embarassment to Britain??? We are a pretty horrific nation of tourists on the whole it must be said. I wa in Australia in 2001 when Oz uncovered was being filmed. They make you act like a complete twat by plying you with the so much booze its unbelievable. We were given 3 full dustbins full of mixed alcohol before we were filmed. Luckily i got away with it but some of the lads were caught literally with their trousers down, filmed and then branded a disgrace. It is a complete set up.
