Post by: Summerof69 on Sunday, November 23, 2008, 22:51:21
Nearly 2 years without Jack saving the world...but he's back tomorrow night on Sky1.

Who's looking forward to this?

I try not to get into any US series, as they go on for ever. Either that, or they get cancelled and you never find out the ending.

Anything that is based on 24 hours but takes 90 fuckin hours to watch is bollocks in my eyes

Watched it last night, first 24 viewing for me for years.  Was pretty good, although the bit where Begbie stood on the land mine would have been better if when he took his weight off the mine it didn't actually go off.  Instead the crazy african dudes should have shot him in the head.

So that sets up the new series then Bauer in the hands of the US Govt.  Not sure if I like the new President's son, he seems very dodgy.

It would be great if in every role RC plays he allows a little bit of Begbie out at one point and like you say at that very point a "Sum lass's got glassed an' nae cunts leavin til we find oot wat cunt did et"

"Who the fuck are you?" (says the colonel)

"yeeeeeeeesssss" followed by a glass in the face, would have been brilliant!

I saw the second and half the third series before losing my habitual viewing habits.  Last night did make me want to get back into it though, good edge of the seat stuff.

I like 23. It's no wire, prison break or sopranos, but a good mindless hour. Series 2 is incredible. They're a bit tedious now, but I'll sky plus it and watch it when chuff all else on. Kim Bauer hotty totty.

I watched this, being the biggest 24 fan ever, and I thought it was shit.  But I watched it anyway. I was scared when the Candy man popped up though and I was alone in a dark room.

My 24 Redemption DVD came in the post at the weekend, and in the extras is a clip of Series 7.

I was expecting around 60 seconds like they do on Sky, but it turned out to be the first 17 minutes of the first episode.

CTU has been disbanded, but the big news is that Tony Almeida is back...and this time playing for the opposition !!!
