I Am about to cook what will go down in history as the greatest breakfast sandwich of all time....

The greece content of this may well kill me. at least one large cup of tea is going to be required to wash it down. might move the mushrooms (a very interesting addition to the sandwich, which could make or break the project) up to the egg layer at the top, and put slightly more bacon at the bottom. Got to keep the balace around the eggy bread cental separator to keep the sandwich well weighted.

Other options include a bit of ketchup although I find that too much can completely overpower the sandwich. Mushrooms I'm definately going to cook in lots of melted butter.

Due to my lack of ownerage of a digital camera I'm afraid to tell you that you may never see this creation. However I will draw a picture of it in paint on completion.. Or go and steal one of my hosuemates digital cameras. but I think they are all out.

That would sound lovely except for my phobia of mushrooms.

worked a treat. The mushrooms turned out to be a success. Bit of a disaster halfway through when I realised some cunt had eaten my mayonaise, then also discovered I was out of milk for my cup of tea. A trip sprint to the shop rectofied both these problems though.

Think next time I might replace the bottom layer of bacon with some sausages, That would be brilliant.

Filled me up a bit, don't think I'll need to eat anything else for the rest of the day.

You inspired me to cook a sandwich of my own Ben, details are as follows:

Cooked a couple of spicy sausages on the Goergie Foreman grill, along with some red pepper.

While this was cooking I also fried some onion, with a few chopped up bits of chorizo, to this I added some paprika, and chopped tomatoes.

When all was cooked I cut in half a ciabatta bread roll and placed in on the Foreman in order to take on some of the flavours and crisp up a little.

After about a minute I spooned the onion etc onto the bottom half of the ciabatta, followe by a suggestion of cheese, I then lay the sasages on top (sliced the down length of them) of the cheese, I then added the red pepper, and finally the top layer of the ciabatta.

Bloody marvellous!  :D

I was really craving a meatball subway the other week, so instead I bought the ingredients from Safe(asfuck)way's and made it myself. You've got to love a good sandwich

They are waffely versatile, afterall.
