Any one had any trick or treasters round yet then?
Our doorbell has just gone, presume that was them, but I aint answering it.

The kids that dress up that go out with their parents are ok, but the chavs in a mask just do my haed in.

Bloody neighbours dont like us and we never talk to each other in the street, yet they came round tonight being all friendly.

Every time the door goes the dog barks which scares the little kids!

My mum answerd the door to a load a second ago, my old man was in kitchen shouting fuck off your bastards :D.
He's just put a piece of paper on the door that says don't even think about it :D

I'm sat in the window above the front door with a box of eggs, bag of flour and a bucket of scalding water.

(I'm not really, I did suggest it to my missus but she wouldn't let me).

i'm ignoring the whole bloody thing.

The mother in law who is in her mid 80s and lives on her own will sit in her house tonight with the lights off, and no Tv on either.
Two years ago she didn't answer the door when the trick or treaters came round and they sprayed her front door with graffiti and shouted abuse through her letterbox, scared her very badly, I sat with her last year, unfortunately because she lives 60 miles away and I had other engagements I couldn't do so tonight, have asked some neighbours to look out for her, but she will be terrified.
Bastards - trick or treat should be for the youngsters only and they should be supervised.

had two little uns so far with their mum and dad.got a bumper bag of haribos in and i'm happy to give to little kids that dress up.
my 8 year old is at a street party now and is doing it with some friends.

Quite funny stood at the cashpoint earlier, watching a group of kids in masks invade the chinese take-away next to it, woman behind the counter looked a bit confused but sent them on their way with a few bags of chips. Cheeky fuckers.

I live in a first floor flat and they can't get to my front door unless i buzz them in, thank god.

I also have the joy of not having a front door to answer. Our house it sort of hid away too so I doubt anyone would knock anyway.

I have just come off the phone to her, nobody has knocked her door tonight, so far so good.

I was in Boston, MA on Halloween back in 2005 and it is totally different ball game.

Whilst taking a morning stroll on Beacon Hill it was like the good people of New England were getting reading for major holiday - this is a photo I took of a typical Halloween effort.

...went to the infamous Salem the next day - a beautiful colonial era graveyard but that's about it. You'll find most of the Yank tourists huddled around a statue of Samantha from the television show Bewitched.

We were looking for older history (beyond 60's television) and went to Tourist Information to get to where the witch trials all kicked-off. The old guy at the centre didn't have a clue - but we got on a bus and went 5-10 minutes up the road to Danvers, a quiet suburban town... We wondered around found some "On this Site..." signs, a memorial and eventually the site where the girls who began the hysteria were living.

The site had clearly not been visited for many months.

In conclusion - Halloween is a waste of time  :)

Its a load of bollocks and is no different to begging. I had some around here but just ignored them. It does seem to be getting more popular but its a crock of shit. So is Christmas. I'll enjoy the time off but I won't be raising a glass to the birthday of someone I don't believe exists. New Year I can understand.

Think we got one person knocking on our door. I didn't answer, but I expect it was someone who asked me the week before if they could bring them round.

Certainly get less people knocking these days than we did a few years back. It's a bit of fun for the kids and I don't mind really. The chavvy teenagers are annoying though.

My mum got some stuff in because the kids from up the road come down and knock on the door. I'm eating the leftover now. Loads of mini dairy milks and flakes. top times.
