I don't see the problem. Paint it blue if it makes them more money.

I think Jan is more outraged because it's Rangers Blue than any other real reason. When Tesco Parkhead sign goes green and white hoops it'll all be OK.

Bleedin' Celts and their Catholic/Protestant bollocks.

Not at all Batch, but companies should give in to knobjockeys who are upset because their corporate colours happen to contain the colour green.  I could give a monkey's if a shop had yellow and blue in their logo, think it just shows the (lack of) intelligence of these people complaining.

Is anyone actually complaining though? Sounds like they are doing it because they think "someone" might get annoyed.

Absolute bollocks either way.

I don't think its 'giving in'. asda are hardly submitting to rangers fans and sucking each one of them off. the corporate thought process probably goes something like this:

fat cat: "hey i had a thought; our shop is green and they're rangers fans. they're less inclined towards green things. there's a small chance that a small number of them might just go up the road to tesco instead. like what happened with subway - everyone went to greggs because it has blue in the logo. shall we paint it blue instead of green?"

fatter cat: "yes."

fat cat: "problemsolved".

fatter cat: "what?"

fat cat: "problem solved."

Fat cat: Will it get us lots of publicity?

Fatter cat: Oh yes, lots.
