Title: 44 versus 66? Post by: Rich Pullen on Friday, October 24, 2008, 20:49:22 As we know the F.A. Cup draw is upon us. We are number 44 (unless I've got the wrong list!) - Oxford/Hayes & Yeading are number 66.... I'd love us to draw them at the County Ground but Team Bath/Salisbury are number 68 would be good too. Any prefrences?
We're yet to lose a game against Non-League opposition this decade... we don't want to lose a long-standing tradition do we now  Numbers & Teams : 01 Accrington Stanley 02 AFC Bournemouth 03 Aldershot Town 04 Barnet 05 Bradford City 06 Brentford 07 Brighton & Hove Albion 08 Bristol Rovers 09 Bury 10 Carlisle United 11 Cheltenham Town 12 Chester City 13 Chesterfield 14 Colchester United 15 Crewe Alexandra 16 Dagenham & Redbridge 17 Darlington 18 Exeter City 19 Gillingham 20 Grimsby Town 21 Hartlepool United 22 Hereford United 23 Huddersfield Town 24 Leeds United 25 Leicester City 26 Leyton Orient 27 Lincoln City 28 Luton Town 29 Macclesfield Town 30 Millwall 31 Franchise 32 Morecambe 33 Northampton Town 34 Notts County 35 Oldham Athletic 36 Peterborough United 37 Port Vale 38 Rochdale 39 Rotherham United 40 Scunthorpe United 41 Shrewsbury Town 42 Southend United 43 Stockport County 44 Swindon Town 45 Tranmere Rovers 46 Walsall 47 Wycombe Wanderers 48 Yeovil Town 49 Hinckley United or Curzon Ashton 50 Kettering Town or Burton Albion 51 Tamworth or Barrow 52 Kings Lynn or Kidderminster Harriers 53 Boston United or Cambridge United 54 Newcastle Blue Star or Altrincham 55 Droylsden or Belper Town 56 Durham City or Histon 57 Retford United or Alfreton Town 58 Northwich Victoria or AFC Telford United 59 Blyth Spartans or Sheffield 60 York City or Mansfield Town 61 Fleetwood Town or Nantwich Town 62 Wrexham or Eastwood Town 63 Stevenage Borough or Horsham 64 Woking or Ebbsfleet United 65 Hampton & Richmond Borough or Brackley Town 66 Oxford United or Hayes & Yeading United 67 Maidstone United or AFC Wimbledon 68 Team Bath or Salisbury City 69 Dorchester Town or Bishop's Stortford 70 Oxford City or Eastbourne Borough 71 Ashford Town (Middlesex) or Forest Green Rovers 72 Evesham United or Rushden & Diamonds 73 Bury Town or Basingstoke Town 74 Burgess Hill Town or Harlow Town 75 Grays Athletic or AFC Totton 76 Aylesbury United or Sutton United 77 Torquay United or Chipstead 78 Leiston or Lewes 79 Crawley Town or Havant & Waterlooville 80 Weymouth or AFC Hornchurch Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: wiggy on Friday, October 24, 2008, 21:31:24 I would like Salisbury, home or away - the RayMac is closer to me than the CG.
James Bittner's mum is classroom assistant in my youngest son's class. Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: Rich Pullen on Friday, October 24, 2008, 21:35:07 We'll end up getting a team in the same division as us probably.
I'm hoping, wishing, praying for Newcastle Blue Star or Blyth Spartans away :) (if they get passed Altrincham & Sheffield respecitively that is) Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: STFC_Chris on Friday, October 24, 2008, 21:35:50 Yes on ITV at 1pm. It's on Sunday, isn't it? :yeahright:Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: chalkies_shorts on Friday, October 24, 2008, 21:46:01 Oxford City would probably be as "interesting" as the Scummers.
Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: Arnold.J.Rimmer on Friday, October 24, 2008, 21:46:47 setanta have also got FA cup games this year
Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: bigbobjoylove on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 00:26:44 Brentford or Wycombe away.
Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: axs on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 01:27:57 Wycombe away.
Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 08:19:22 Meh! They're all pretty dully really. One year I would like us to get Billingham Synthonia or Whitehill Welfare away or some one of that ilk. Harrogate Railway is another good one. Proper non-league teams. We'd probably end up losing of course ::)
But out of that lot I suppose it would have to be Wycombe away. A tie to really get the fans buzzing. :yeahright: (thought I would just add that to save some one the trouble of coming out with "Wycombe away????are you mad???I can't think of a more boring tie!!!!!!you sir are worse than Hitler" and so on and so forth) Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: herthab on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 08:23:32 Wycombe?
I want the pox!!! Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: herthab on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 08:24:04 (Not the disease, the pub team)
Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: ronnie21 on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 08:53:16 Leiston away for me, lived near there for 14 years. If they did get through there is no chance they would be able to stage league opposition on their ground, probably have to be transferred to Portman Road I would assume.

Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: Spud on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 17:23:51 Seem's odd wanting Oxford to win today, that'll be wasted if we don't get drawn against them tomorrow. :(

or Durham if they win their replay or Newcastle Blue Star if they manage to beat Altrincham tomorrow. Title: Re: 44 versus 66? Post by: Peter Venkman on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 17:36:44 Dorchester away for me please, or failing that Yeovil, Weymouth, Torquay or the Pox...all away would please me.
