Title: i went mobile phone shopping today Post by: oxford_fan on Saturday, September 20, 2008, 20:00:55 ...because i left my phone in tanzania and was due a free upgrade. i'm sat typing this on my new fujitsu semens laptop, which 3 gave me for free! its probably a complete piece of shit laptop (its the Amilo Li 2727 if you'd like to confirm that for me), but hey its a free laptop. the contract isn't ridiculous - £35 a month for unlimited texts and 700mins. i was pretty amazed that they do deals this (seemingly) good. they were also offering ps3's but i thought i'd chose the more practical and sensible option seeing as my previous piece of shit laptop was meandering right up shit creek.
i looked the laptop up and they retail for a mere £275. the bloke from o2, when i called to cancel my contract, tried to sell me a £10 a month deal based on the idea that i'd save about £400 but its not really the same as this cool free stuff.
