Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Piemonte on Monday, May 9, 2005, 22:42:15 Who has underachieved most this season?
quite different to the worst player poll. I'd go for ifill, who after joining us on a permanant basis for a massive (by our standards) £70k, has' played large sections of this season as if he is the man with no brain. Honourable mentions go to Igoe, Evans and Fallon. Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, May 9, 2005, 23:02:26 Certainly Jerel, no doubt there.
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Whits on Monday, May 9, 2005, 23:04:30 jerel closely chased by evans
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: yeo on Monday, May 9, 2005, 23:05:38 I voted Evans but mostly because he annoys me 8)
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Dazzza on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 00:28:34 Igoe, just not happened for him at all. Should really be a a big player at this level but just doesn't seem to be producing the goods week in week out.
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: DMR on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 09:45:55 All of them! There's 8 out of 11 first teamers up there, says it all really.

It could be the whole first team squad apart from Parkin and Smith Title: Biggest underachiever? It could be the whole first team squad apart from Parkin and Smith I wouldn't say O'Hanlon has underachieved really, he's been as solid a defender as you can expect at this level really, only problem is that the rest of the team has been slacking somewhat, so any mistake he has made has shown up more that they might have if we had other players we could rely on to bail their team mates out. Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: janaage on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 10:09:07 I go for Igoe. He's been completely gash this season, barring one shot against Bradford.

I thought about grouping him with Parkin and Smith, but for me he has still been below his best this season although by a smaller margin than the rest of em Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: janaage on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 10:13:13 Bit unfair to vote for Migz. I know I'm pro-Migz but he has been out for most of the season. Then when he came back he was playing in a shit team. I think Gerrard would have struggled to look good in our midfield whilst trying to regain his fitness.
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Kinky Tom on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 10:16:31 Yeah, suppose I might aswell answer the question.
Igoe for me has to be the one, Ifill has at least shown on some occassions what he is capable of, Igoe hasn't - he really seemed to be going through the motions all season. Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 10:58:23 I voted for Igoe. Being introduced as 'the showman' before each and every home game without exception has only served to highlight how poor he's been this season.
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: adje on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 16:53:49 Evans for me.Last season I thought we were really lucky to get him-but hjs form this season (especially at his near post) has led me to think I wouldn't be sorry if he left.Igoe second for all-round lack of effort and general crapness
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 16:59:48 Agreed - Evans is very over rated.

I said this months and months ago and you went utterly ballistic Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Johno on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 21:22:20 i voted igoe because he has been shocking and has played nearly every game? done nothing, compared to last season when he was our main player
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 23:39:52 despite only watching 2 games - both v notts county, i voted igoe. he was fuckin awesome last year (my player of the season) but from the way everyone on here as slagged him off he must have gone downhill big time
Title: Biggest underachiever? Post by: magnum150 on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, 23:42:35 I went wit 'Oolit. At least Igoe has had his moments and Evans has made some fine saves. 'Oolit has done what exactly? Scored against Rushden, Oooohhhh.
