Oh fucking hell Ritson's fucking awful, all he does is try and puts stupid phrases into his articles.  We'd be better off having Nev write a puntastic match report each week, least that'd be a clever.

Just to be a pain in the arse...I very much doubt Ritson would write the headlines, it's usually done by the sub editor

Are you Ritson in disguise?

He may suppport the traders, but Andy Cryer stuck his neck out and asked serious questions of the Diamandis regime when they were 'in control'.  I wouldn't go so far as to say his articles were solely responsible for getting them out, but he played his part.  He put pressure on them for a sustained period, and he gets my thanks for it.

Ritson, by comparison, never put a foot out of line so far as the old regime were concerned.  He was toothless.  I didn't realise that a return was on the cards - and I think it's a crying (no pun intended) shame that he is.

I lost patience with Ritson when he did a Hunter S. Thompson-esque match report talking about his beach holidays when he was a kid.There was something about a airbed/lilo in it instead of talking about our trip to Gay Meadow (or wherever it was)

I kind of assumed it was more of a resignation letter than an article...

Oh bum. Fished in. Wish I'd written something wondering how Ritson had managed to fail in Australia, a place where even the most small time hacks go and come back two years later having become senior editor on Maxim/Razzle.

Don't ever compare Jon Ritson with Gonzo journalisms finest. For shame :D

A quick look on wikipedia tells me that Miglioranzi is 30 now, and has started less than 40 games since leaving us  :(
