Think it was to do with a reputation of acting like pissed up knobs.

IPerhaps common sense should prevail, but the hotels actions are no different from banning single sex groups from Butlins, or kids from newsagents.

Clearly on a case by case basis none of these are always true, but the policies are put in place to minimise risk.
