Title: Boardband Prices upgrades. Post by: blinkpip on Sunday, August 31, 2008, 18:57:15 I pay £24.99 for unlimited 8meg speed boardband usage with AOL. I been paying this for this for a year or two now and I believe I'm being ripped off as price for the internet gone down over the past year.
I would like to stay with AOL, as I don't fancy changing settings and email accounts, but they're price plans have now changed. So I could haggle and get it cheaper me thinks. Seeing as the new plans have limits, is 4GB a lot a month. Or should I go for at least 8 or 10? The down point is that it may involved Minimum 24 month contract. advice please. £24.99 is way too much to be paying.tell them you will cancel.they will then offer you a better deal Title: Re: Boardband Prices upgrades. I'm with AOL and did just that and got it reduced to 12.99 a month for unlimited 8 meg. I have been with them 3+ years though. Title: Re: Boardband Prices upgrades. Can it play fast football manager? I got the free lappy from Carphone warehouse with my mobile contract...its a HP6720, upgrade the memory to 2gb for £12.50. It does play FM2008 with no problem just a little slow compaired to my desktop. Get the lappy..its worth it, they are about £250 to buy new. Title: Re: Boardband Prices upgrades. Post by: Simon Pieman on Sunday, August 31, 2008, 22:18:49 Depends if you need a new laptop though I'd guess. Celeron processor is going to be quite slow with FM.
If it's not better than what you've got or you don't need another laptop, then paying £7 more a month for 18months is not worth it. |
