Title: Cheese and Onion Crisps

Nope nor me

Walkers are doing a competition to come up with a new flavour at the moment. It's on their website. The prize is £50,000 and 1% of the sales.

I did once.

I'd just cut up the onions with the same knife. Which is probably very bad for you.

None of the flavours actually taste like what they are meant to be though, especially the 'meat' flavour ones. I mean, Beef max ones just taste like mustard.

Marmite ones taste of Marmite,do they still make them?

Ready Salted taste of Salt 8)

Salted ones don't count. Nor does Vinegar. In fact, my point only really applies to the Meat ones.

ive entered that competition and put in mars bar flavour.

should have gone for deep fried mars bar, or maybe Jellied Eel - actually just suggest local varieties and then we can have Cornish Pasty flavour as well.  For all chavs we could have some K Cider tasting ones?

I'm going to suggest black pudding. Maybe Black Pudding and English Mustard.

Fuck it, I'll just enter twice.

Crisps with a wedge of Cheese and some chopped Onion in the bag?

Title: Re: Cheese and Onion Crisps

dry roasted?
is this flavour acheived through farting in the bag before it is sealed?  Dry Roasted Peanuts are lovely but smell foul.

I've had an onion and chive mature cheddar that came close enough.

Beef Stroganoff would be my entry if I could be arsed

I'd nominate 'Breakfast Flavour' a mix of bacon, baked beans and sausage with a toasty texture.

Title: Re: Cheese and Onion Crisps
Post by: flammableBen on Thursday, August 21, 2008, 22:29:31
oooh. That's quite good. You should definitely submit your entry.

Although they'd have to have a new brand of bacon flavoured crisps which tasted like bacon. Smokey bacon can be tasty, but it doesn't really taste like bacon, smoked or otherwise.

Reggae Reggae flavour has got my attention.

What a good bag of crisps that would be.

Anyway, Worcestor Sauce is the best flavour isn't it.

Hmm takes me back to school in cookery class.

I took the aforemention breakfast foods and put them in a pie.

Turned out quite tasty

There's a classic episode of Come Dine with Me, where one of the contestants invents a breakfast curry for his main course. I don't think it went down well.

Is it worth mentioning right now that Come Dine With Me was being filmed in Swindon this past week?

Well, maybe it was last week but still, we are famous.

I'm not convinced that he is genuinely gay, I think he did it just to be in vogue during the late 90's.

Blinding glimpse of the bleedin' obvious ... lager flavour!

Or vodka flavour ... which if they mixed them in packets with tomato sauce flavour and worcester sauce flavour they could sell as bloody mary flavour

(Qn. for nev at the helpdesk: In the above situation should mary have a capital M?)

I'd say both words should have capitals as I consider the name of the drink to be a proper noun, as well as the name Mary. Not totally sure though. It just "looks right" with capitals

I think some sort of Roast Dolphin and Apple type of offensive mix would go down a treat.

Cheese and bacon always promises so much but delivers so little...  They do a baked cheese and bacon flavour that tastes like Ole Grandman's Big Toe...

I reckon chocolate and cheese flavour...

Tea flavoured crisps. Actually it is a crap idea. They do them in China, well green tea flavoured Walkers/Lays.

More odd than actually nasty.

Think they were special addition but a few years back Walkers starting putting two flavour together. There were 3 different new flavour. One of them BBQ flavor + Roast Chicken flavour = BBQ Chicken and they were really nice....

Man flavour should taste of melon and pineapple juice. That is the recommended intake for those caring males who consider their woman pre-fellatio.

Coffee revels are actually good. It's the orange ones which are bad.

I know a girl who once claimed she'd love it if they made bags with just coffee revels. Now that is freaky.
