Corr will partner Peacock up front with Lilian Nalis also handed a start in the centre of the midfield." Title: Re: Hungerford Post by: Weasel on Friday, August 1, 2008, 20:16:00 indeed. jcb is clearly down with the kids. And conspicuous by his absence this evening. This clearly means one of few things - either he's in bed, he has an active social life and doesn't post on forums on a friday night, or he is Michael Pook. I know where my bet would be...

Title: Re: Hungerford Post by: Batch on Friday, August 1, 2008, 21:09:25 Sturrock on for Corr after 30 mins....is he injured again? No, they seemed to be sticking to some kind of rehabilitation plan of 30 mins. Of the 1st teamers, Peacs & Brez played the full 90. Nalis about 55 and Easton 45. Pooks goal will have Fatbury nipping down to Tesco to buy a man sized box of tissues to mop up the man mess. It was a powerful volley. Corrs was from a chip over the top to leave him 1 on 1 which he duly dispatched. Generally he did pretty well considering he hasn't played for so long. Sturrocks was a cool finish from the left hand side of the box, very calm. Eastons was a good header after a fine cross from Joyce. Other than that it was a typical pre-season game where we looked mostly comfortable without being exciting or peppering the goal. Their goals were identikit efforts - they totally caught us out for pace down their left flank and crossed in to leave a 1 on 1 with Brez who has no chance.
