Not sure if its been mentioned already but just seen this. Fair play for not making a fuss about it. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, July 28, 2008, 12:30:45 Not good....let's hope it remains a mild and controllable thing.

Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: crouchy on Monday, July 28, 2008, 12:32:24 Does not sound too bad at the moment, just hope it does not get any worse, eight years and not said a word
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: axs on Monday, July 28, 2008, 12:33:59 fair play to him for keeping it quiet, surprised it hasn't got out before. hope it doesn't get any worse.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Dazzza on Monday, July 28, 2008, 12:39:00 Good fella got to admire his attitude and the fact he's just getting on with it.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Ardiles on Monday, July 28, 2008, 14:31:29 Exemplifies the attitude of a bygone age - the stiff upper lip, mustn't grumble, just get on with it.
The man has my deepest respect, and my very best wishes. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Monday, July 28, 2008, 14:47:12 Im really shocked - hes a dour old turkey neck but I kinda l love him
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Samdy Gray on Monday, July 28, 2008, 15:24:24 He's a good strong character and he's obviously coped with it well over the past 8 years. Good on him.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: janaage on Monday, July 28, 2008, 16:33:54 Attention seeking, get those excuses in before Plymouth start off with a whimper. Reminds me of the time Hoddle got a cold sore on his lip during the play offs, just in case we didn't go up, oh how quickly it cleared up once he joined Chelsea. These managers are one step ahead of the game.
In all seriousness fair play to the bloke for keeping it to himself (PS not GH), I think that kind of explains why he's got such a good outlook on the game, ie it's a game, not life or death, if the team lose they lose, you look at your next match and try your hardest to win it. All the best for the future, hope it remains controllable for a very long time indeed. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: THE FLASH on Monday, July 28, 2008, 17:20:31 I reckon Pook knew about it!
Everytime Luggy picked the team, Pooky stood by the shaky finger! Aside.........: I had he controls it and stays a succesful manager for many years. Drugs for this condition have improved. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: tans on Monday, July 28, 2008, 18:22:18 Fair play to him for keeping it quiet.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Spencer_White on Monday, July 28, 2008, 18:43:54 Poor old Luggy.
He is a strong man though, Part of what makes him such a top manager. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, July 28, 2008, 18:58:23 I heard he's only said it because he wants to give the team a bit of a shake up.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Ralphy on Monday, July 28, 2008, 20:34:23 Horrible disease.
I saw it make my grandad a weak man. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: deltaincline on Monday, July 28, 2008, 23:38:24 I heard he's only said it because he wants to give the team a bit of a shake up. I wouldn't wish Parkinsons disease on anyone, Luggy included. The fat fucking monk-haired 'sweaty' shit all over fans of this club when he sided with Wills and Diamandis. I don't wish him bad fortune, but I'll never forgive the cunt. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Simon Pieman on Monday, July 28, 2008, 23:45:25 I was only going for the obviously tongue in cheek distasteful humour approach.
I think he was taken for a ride with the old lot and once he realised this he left completely. It's good to read he's coping ok. The fat fucking monk-haired 'sweaty' shit all over fans of this club when he sided with Wills and Diamandis. I don't wish him bad fortune, but I'll never forgive the cunt. I've done some sweaty shits in my time. But seriously, bloke who's job involves some PR sticks up for bosses shocker? He's far from the most hypocritical person I've met when it comes to employers. I'm sure there are many about who work for companies which are doing worse things than running a football club into the ground. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: STFC_Gazzza on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 05:49:38 I do not blame Luggy for leaving us. I was gutted when he left. The best manager we had in ages. People slag him off for siding with Diamandis etc but your not going to slag off your boss are you? Luggy did a good job here. He wouldnt have left for any other club unless they were in the Premier League. Leicester approached and he said he would stay. Have a lot of time for Sturrock. Top man.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 11:03:52 Plymouth to take Shakes on trial?
Seriously though, I wish him all the best. I think he was taken for a ride with the old lot and once he realised this he left completely. It's good to read he's coping ok. Realisation that probably made him shudder to think what might happen if he stayed. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Rich Pullen on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 11:23:29 I was disappointed, but not at all suprised when Sturrock left.
This news has nothing to do with football - I wish him all the best. Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 11:25:35 I'm glad he's only got Parkinson's and not Ross's disease though.
Title: Re: Luggy suffers from Parkinson's Post by: Colin Todd on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 12:36:08 Plymouth to take Shakes on trial?
