That's a pretty vague request. Pretty sure there are some tutorials kicking about on the tinterwebs if you want to learn the basics. Photoshop is a handy tool but it doesn't just magically do stuff for you.

Do you mean a forum signature? If you're looking to just put various images together in a sort of montage then you'll probably want to learn about the various selecting tool thingies, transform, layers and maybe some layer colour filter things.

Sorry I'm a bit hopeless, I can't really remember the real names for most things.

for a start you are a bracket '[' short on the start of your current sig.

It seems that all signatures lost a character when the big move happened. bloody removal men.

<pedant>CS9? Not for a few years yet. I think you mean CS3, Version 9.</pedant>

They could just skip a few. Didn't winamp skip version 4 and go straight to 5?

I stick with 3 myself.

Didn't they argue something about it being 2+3 = 5 as they combined the best bits of the two.

Are they still on v5? it's been ages since I used winamp.

What do you use instead Si? I think they're still on 5, but it's been getting more and more bloated for years. Hence why I'm using 3. I might abandon that and step back to 2.

I can't stand Windows Media Player. It's horrible and always tries to make me do things I don't want to.

Fair enough. Videos I'm sorted. VLC wins.

I don't know why but I only find VLC useful to play videos which don't open normally. The interface doesn't really work for me.

You should be able to find free trials for most software like that on the main website, then just find a CD-key / keygen for it and your good to go.

Then just stick "paintshop tutorials" into youtube and you can learn a load of stuff from that although the quality is a bit crap, otherwise there are loads and loads of sites that give step-by-step guides on how to do stuff

winamp 4 was a horrific nightmare, so they ditched it and went back to something more similar to winamp 3.

i think they t ried being too clever.
