Title: Phone TV question Post by: Elvis on Friday, July 11, 2008, 11:06:21 I've subscribed to Sky Sports via my mobile for £5 a month, which I think is pretty reasonable. My question is however I do not subscribe to unlimited internet usage on my phone as I don't use it. Is watching TV via your phone deemed to be using the internet though? Or is it just a flat rate £5 for tv or £7 for internet, or can you not have the tv without the internet?

with orange i got free highlights of all swindons games etc but i had to pay for the internet usage Title: Re: Phone TV question Post by: Elvis on Friday, July 11, 2008, 13:03:14 I've rung up and been assured that although you do pay "about a penny" to get on to the screen to select what channel you want, as that's hosted on Vodafone live, once you're viewing the channel your £5 per month kicks in and there is no further (download) charge.
I'll keep an eye on it. Title: Re: Phone TV question Post by: Dazzza on Saturday, July 12, 2008, 17:06:28 What's the quality like Elvis and were you Jan aage before?
I just got given a slingbox by work to play with and it hooks into my ADSL line at home and the Sky box and I can watch Sky off my home subs on my mobile albeit paying for the data on HSDPA/3G. Not bad though on Wi-Fi though and I have the power to freak out people and change what ever someone is watching on the box back home.
