Need ideas for something to do with mrs on weekend.  In danger of decorating teh bedroom, I never decorate as have a client who does it and dont fancy starting now!

So far:-

Monkey world takes a couple of hours to get round at most. Buy her a nice teddy/monkey in the shop on the way out, stop off at a nice pub for lunch on the way back, nuts wet when you get home!

Do you think it will get me a get out pass for blackpool in two weeks!?

I'd recommend sending her off to a shopping mall, like Cribb's Causeway....offer to drop her and a mate off, then go and do something you want to do.

   You could even give her a bit of a list of things you'd quite like sorted....curtains, soft furnishings that sort of thing...should keep her happy.

God no. I've got a phobia of telephones.

Could go to Bath? Have a potter about and have lunch somewhere. There's quite a few museums and the such to go to, such as the Roman Baths...on a less obvious train of thought I think there's a museum of fashion if you can stomach it, but I can't imagine a young lady not liking that sort of guff.

I guess it's down to a tradeoff of effort and risk for reward.

   About 3 years ago, I'd booked  up to go white water rafting on the Wye, with my then missus....unfortunately there was a drought, so it was pointless.

   They said try later in the year, by which time it was equally pointless.

    As far as I know I've still got a booking, never having had a refund.

Ha I like lads! The white rafting would be much better, saw some company does tree climbing, your 100ft high going across on little bridges, but cant find it!

Take her shopping in London but her a couple of things and then treat her to lunch (or even take her to a show) come home she will be so pleased you will get your end away sat night she still be happy come sunday at how you have treated her and then drop it on her Sun avo that your going away on a lads weekend and it is not really something you can get out of but you don't want to go but as your mates are paying for you to make sure you go then you can't really say no.....nice and straight forward it costs you a few quid but it is worth it in the end !

monkey world is a good shout, but as already pointed out doesn't take all day.you could throw in a trip to poole, swanage or corfe castle.
then maybe a nice meal and hotel in the area for the night?poole harbour front is nice with plenty of pubs and a hotel smack bang on the harbour.

Swanage is really nice, that's where we went after Monkey World.

Watch out for weather if going to Monkey World - we took the kids a couple of months back and while it was lovely when we left Swindon it was chucking it down in Dooorrrzeettt. Result: rather than kids enraptured at sight of monkeys giving it large in amazing adventure playground style enclosures, we had lots of wandering past viewing windows looking at pissed off monkeys sat inside giving it "Fuck that I'm not going out there not even with a monkey anorak, it's fucking freezing and its tipping it down".

 Is the sex swing anything like a hammock?  

  One of my lady friends likes to do it in the hammock in the garden...I find it a bit complicated after a lengthy wine drinking session....I think she gets off on the fact the neighbours can watch :D

wahhay, paddy you only got an invite as others mentioned it around you.  Called that off when the weather forcast on Weds that it would piss down.

Went to MK in the end to do tobogoning which wasnt all that, saw GFM for a spot of lunch.    I wouldnt recommend it, not the lunch but the tobogoning!
