Stephen Fry is just a few years away from being awarded the 'national treasure' accolade currently enjoyed by Joanna Lumley and Alan Bennett.

The man is a likeable genius.  It's difficult to pay anyone a higher compliment than that.

Hugh Lawrie in "House" does the worst american accent I have ever heard.  He should have stuck to the voice he used as Stuart Little's adoption dad in Stuart Little 1 (& 2).

Not that bothered about Fry to be honest, he was very good in Blackadder but that's about it for me.

Stephen Fry should be held up as a shining example to other gay comedians that they could do something other than continuous cheap innuendo gags.

QI is up there with some of the old Have I Got News For You episodes, in terms of quiz show entertainment.  Love it.

Actually it was a Swindon Hotel that he was finally caught and arrested in (the one that used to be on the corner of Fleming Way and Princes Street, that used to have the Old Vic bar on the ground floor) he was there having done a runner from home after nicking a credit card from a friend of his family.
