Heart in Hand in Blunsdon (Some Good STFC merchandise there, Free House) Village Inn In Liddington (Arkells owned local) Calley Arms Hodson (Wadworth owned local serves heineken on tap) Harrow Inn Wanborough (Wadworth owned pub, very good entertainement on a Sunday) Cross Keys Wanborough (Wadworth owned pub, very nostalgic pub) Black Horse Wanborough (Arkells owned pub, very good views)All very good pubs indeed Bakers Arms Badbury (very smalle Arkells owned pub, family run) Check Inn Wroughton (Owned By Fullers, real fire inside, was not the pub it was but a decent boozer) Carters Rest Wroughton (Plenty of real ales, decent atmosphere) Title: Country Pubs Post by: reeves4england on Sunday, June 8, 2008, 22:13:56 The George at Sandy Lane, near Calne/Chippenham

The Queens Arms at Bleadon - about 2 miles out of WSM on the Burnham road. A Butcombe pub with very good home cooked food. The Bell at Lacock - bottom of Bowden Hill, 6X, Bath Ales Gem and a couple of rotating taps for the hophead, and decent well priced food as well |
