As for Coldplay, I quite like Parachutes but from there on they have gone down hill hugely. I heard on the radio a few days ago that they are collaborating with Kylie for a track on their next album... just when you thought they couldn't get any worse.

They're abit lame to be honest, The Scientist, Clocks, Yellow are all decent enough pop songs but the rest utter shite, I always think that you stick a Coldplay album on and it goes fuckin no where. It's almost as if its filled with an album worth or Wonderwalls.

The song I HATE most is that fix you one - he just sounds like a wailing cat - YUCK

Everyone says they hate Coldplay yet they sell millions of records.I like one of thier songs cant think what its called though,apart from that im not that arsed either way .I can think of much more offensive bands to hate.

talking of McLovin i watched SuperBad for the first time the other day, McLovin is a great character and actor - his arms when they tow the car!

I think they're like one of those bands that was cool to like before everyone jumped on the bandwagon so more have tried to jump off so to speak.

Yeah but saying that you like the first album is the stereotypical cop out. The first half of Rush of Blood to the Head is better than Parachutes, and Clocks is the best song they've done; it's just a shame that the second half of that album is pretty much crusty gash.

I've not really heard much of x and y to warrant an opinion, I found A Rush of Blood to the Head good in parts, extremely dull in others.

Parachutes is the one I enjoy the most, apart from Yellow, I've heard that so much I'm sick of it.

Speed of Sound is good, the rest not. Funny really, Speed of Sound is the Coldplay song I most like, but the album is horrible. Still, their perfectly good, not top class or anything but worth a listen if you're in the mood.
