We all need about 8 hours a day sleep right?, Well last night I got no sleep. So would mean that to catch up I should sleep for 16 hours tonight, or would a good 8-9 of deep sleep do the trick? Interesting question though, I would imagine that getting 8 hours after missing a nights sleep would pretty much get you back to normal, certainly don't think 16 hours would be necessary as a chink of the 8 hours is superfluous. Normally go to bed and sleep for about three, then up for three and then back to bed for a couple more. If I've had too many drinks I go out like a light, but still never go past a few hours before I'm up watching television. I do cat-knap during the day for 15, 20 minutes at a time (40 winks) find this refreshes me up. Regarding the original questions of how many hours you would need after losing a nights sleep, just your normal hours the next night should do the trick. Title: A sleep queston. Probably because your body doesn;t function at full capacity when you're tired, meaning you don't use as much energy.
