On a serious note though I feel for you.  I was never old enough to remember my grandparents funerals - couldn't imagine going through that now.

Italian white is nice - not a fan of italian red.  New Zealand red Pinot Noir is nice but gotta make a good choice.

It sucks losing grandparents.

I lost my gran in 93 when I was just 8 then my other nan and gramp went within a year of each other Feb 06 and Jan 07. Its really really shit.

I was never that close with my dads side of the family, as well its large....6 kids, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.....so it possibly wasnt as hard as it should have been.

On the flip side, out of all my family I'm probably closet to my gramp I've got left. He spoilt me as a child and the old fool still does.....My mums an only child and so am I, thus an only grandchild. I cant imagine the day hes gone, it will destory me.

My Nan was made much worse, because well.....the 'family' home that my dad, uncles and aunties grew up in went back to council so it all had to be cleared out and as usual, it all got left for my dad to do.

I had a few days off work to attend the funeral and help him and got bollocked at work for it, cunts!

It's a weird one. After the few years you're there you just want to get out and start moving on (well most people I knew did). When you get about a year into a job world you just want to go back.

aye, it's different in my case as im the only one of my mates who's leaving... i.e. they've all got a year left of fun and frolics and when i do my third year they wouldve finished. which is bent.
needs must though eh?

In my final year I lived with a bunch that had all finished uni (with the exception of one who was doing her LPC law thingy) but as they stayed on in the same place after uni they still pretty much did all the studenty stuff. That was probably the best year I had at uni too in fairness.

That'll be the Narcs, for the first    time since last october. I was presented with the opportunity to "treat" myself for my hard work and effort of late and thought "why not". All in moderation of course.

Obviously it hits harder after a prolonged period of abstenance, but I am still within the boundries of control. Just a few minutes ago for example to some mates and TEF'rs in the UK telling them what gayers they are. However I have that little bit of control left telling me that it would only be funny to me.

I'm still spouting shit on here though, I'll be able to pay more attention to the misses once our little girl goes back to sleep/
