I think I heard on the radio it is Perry McCarthy, former Stig rather than current Stig(s). Not that it matters. It's a bloody good cause and sounds pretty interesting.

Perry McCarthy isn't the Stig anymore though.

I know. Nobody knows who the current Stig(s) are.

No idea who OTT events are, I'd suggest booking through the club but...

Sporting Dinner with motorsport star Perry McCarthy aka THE STIG!

A unique opportunity to see and hear the tales from the prolific Perry McCarthy, Perry has been involved in Motorsport for over 22 years; he is well known within the motorsport industry and is close friends with the likes of Damon Hill, Johnny Herbert, Mark Blundell and Bernie Ecclestone. Perry shot to further fame when he was un-masked as THE STIG in BBC’s Top Gear programme.

The evening includes a quality 3-course meal, raffle, auction and real life tales from the man who has been described as “a comedian trapped inside a racing drivers body”.

Swindon Town Football Club, The County Ground, Swindon, Wiltshire. Doors open at 7pm with dinner being served at 8pm.

Tickets £42.50 each or £400 for a table of ten, available by mailing/ringing OTT Events (see 'Contacts' page). Programme advertising is also available, please contact us for more information/prices.

Annoyingly it seems that a bloody load of people do know who the Stig is but they're not saying.

The entire panel on last weeks "Fighting Talk" on 5Live seemed to know but were doing that media whore in-joke thing. Bastards.

Was F3. Doubt they'd have an F3 driver as the Stig, none of them are over 20!
