Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: magic8ball on Friday, May 23, 2008, 19:53:36 On Tuesday, my wife gave birth to a baby boy, weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces, named Oliver. Was a horrific three day labour ending in an emergency c-section in the end. Scary stuff!
Here's the little cutie: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z3/pagey123/Ollie.jpg Not a wink of sleep last night, but I couldn't be happier. Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: richiestfc on Friday, May 23, 2008, 19:55:20 ahhh congrats :D

Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: Batch on Friday, May 23, 2008, 19:57:23 Congratulations! Your life will never be the same, but in a good way . Pretty tough going for the first few months on the sleep front, but it does get better, honest.
3 days of labour, holy shit! Enjoy it, when people say they grow up fast they aren't wrong. Only seems like yesterday my little one arrived. He goes to school in September (just in time for #2 to arrive). Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: ronnie21 on Friday, May 23, 2008, 19:58:58 Many congrats Magic. Makes me feel a real oldie now though, we are off to see our youngest grandson in Yorkshire for the weekend!!
Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: magic8ball on Friday, May 23, 2008, 20:05:03 Cheers guys.
I'm already witnessing the who life changing thing. The house sounds strange with baby crying noises instead of the television! He lovely though, we keep staring at him while he's asleep, wondering how the hell we made something so beautiful. Labour was horrific. Worse three days of my life followed by the best! All the best with number 2 Batch, I really can't imagine how people put up with two of them! Its a touchy subject with the wife at the moment. I'm in talks with the old man to get him one, and then of course it'd be rude not to wear it whenever we see him! When the new shirt comes out next season, will they be selling baby sized ones? I wouldn't have thought so.... Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: axs on Friday, May 23, 2008, 21:36:25 one town shirt, one pair of scissors and a sewing machine. I'm sure you could botch something together!

His Mum is a part time Chelsea fan, so there really is no choice to make. Plus, I've got my first ever season ticket this year, so I'll have plenty of opportunity to tell him all about the famous 08/09 championship winning season :beers: Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: magic8ball on Friday, May 23, 2008, 21:37:51 Quote from: "axs" one town shirt, one pair of scissors and a sewing machine. My girl is 3 1/2 now. You've alot of hard work ahead but it is definately worth it. Title: Town's youngest fan Post by: magic8ball on Saturday, May 24, 2008, 16:56:52 Thanks for the kind words everybody. I'm already seeing just what hard work it would appear I'm heading for.
Sometimes he cries, and I mean, absolutely screaming, and he doesn't want to feed, has a clean nappy, has been winded....Its all very frustrating. But I know, the day I get him out in the garden for a kick about with his first football, it'll all be worth it and more. I know it looks bad mate, but women are built for it....or they can always be drugged up. Proof that women have an easier life is shown in the life expectancy stats. In England the average for men is about 76 for women 81.
