To burn an AVI to DVD you first need to convert the AVI file to DVD format, I use "convertxtodvd". It's usually quick download from a torrent, no doubt limewire will have one as well. It takes an hour or so to convert the file with Convertxtodvd, and then use nero to burn. All pretty straight forward once you have the software.
