Trying to get onto my old phone (Samsung D900). I have completely forgotten the password to get onto my messages etc. To change the password I need to type in the original password, which I don't know. What can I do? To change the password I need to type in the original password, which I don't know. Is the password ( I assume you mean security PIN) on the phone, or the SIM card? I assume the phone otherwise you'd just whack a different SIM in?! default password is : 00000000 If you ghave changed it, best google match is as follows (this is a full reset. I don't know if it'll kill the messages). Try switching phone off > remove Sim Card > Power Phone back on > Type in *2767*2878# his should now reset your codes to 00000000 again. Yeah, I meant the security pin. When you turn the phone off, take the sim out and turn it back on it just says insert sim. Thanks though. Title: Mobile Phone Help Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, May 22, 2008, 10:05:03 Can't you enter it wrong 5 times, get to the screen where it asks for a PUK code and then phone up your network for one?
Title: Mobile Phone Help Post by: STFC4LIFE on Thursday, May 22, 2008, 10:15:18 No, because it's a securtiy code for messages etc, and not a pin code to get onto the phone itself.
Title: Mobile Phone Help Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, May 22, 2008, 10:20:03 If there is an option to master reset you could try that. Will wipe everything though.
