Post by: leefer on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 19:31:17 Ime off to Wentworth next week to watch Swindons David Howell amongst others,if youve never been to watch its a real good day out,and relatively cheap,only 25 pounds for the day including parking,my sisters driving so i shall take a few bottles of red and hope the weather is good,the following week its the Welsh Open in Newport and i intend to spend abit of time there,so if youve never been i can recomend it as being a good day out even if your not a major golf fan,with plenty of Beer tents if the weather isnt great.

a big boo to monty who is a prima donna and grumpy sod though. all the players were happy to give autographs to a couple of kids who were getting them near the practice ground as they arrived to warm up. whilst watching the players warming up, a steward tells the group "you have to vacate this area now" then up rolled monty who then ignored the two lads who wanted his signature. went downhill big time in my estimations as a man yesterday. can see why he gets stick off the yanks now. Post by: leefer on Monday, June 2, 2008, 19:22:51 Hes a miserable fella alright,saw abit of Clarke,he always has a good following,will be going to the London Club later in the year,maybe a day at Southport to watch the open but best of all a couple of days at Loch Lomond for the Scottish Open....that course is stunning and cant wait to see it....glad you had a good day.

So i've put myself back to 28 handicap (was 20) as i know i'll be extremely rusty. Should help with the Stableford looking forward to it though if the weather is good 8) |
