Anyways, I am well into nature and that, and I love creepy crawleys (Even though I run away from them like a girl at times).

Deep sea creatures are possibly the scariest out there from what iv'e seen on TV. Some of them can eat a meal bigger than themselves in one mouth full.  :shock:

I reckon my favourite animal is the Tiger, because they are powerful, dangerous yet so fucking gorgeous. With the Elephant as a close second because you can see in their eyes that they are just so intelligent.

Elephants are alright, but also capable of homosexuality. Which shows that they are a bit unnatural.

I keep a eye open for the efforts of the Great Bustard reintroduction group.   I'm sure you'll all know that the GB is Europe's largest flying bird.  Up until the Victorian era, it was a common site on Wiltshire's downland, but changing agripractice finished it off.

  It's still quite common in some European countries and an effort has been made to get a population back on Salisbury Plain.  There used to be a fine stuffed example in Devizes Museum.....incidentally always worth a visit.

i seem to remember on a scout trip around the fire station on drove road some time in the late 80's that they had a small bar in there called the 'great bustard' and possibly a stuffed example of said bird.  Interesting bit of trivia I'm sure you'll appreciate

I’ve always had a begrudging admiration for the shite hawk.

 Very intelligent chaps and I'll always remember seeing one of them perched on a wheelie bin (the big sort with slidey roof) and bellow out for his brethren to join him.  When about half a dozen had landed on the bin their combined weight opened it up, the first fella dived in and proceeded to empty the contents of the bags into the Street while the rest sat waiting patiently and when he finally hopped out they all swooped down and feasted away.

I'm keeping the blind drawn at the moment Reg as a couple of times we've spooked the adult birds from coming in to feed the ugly skwaky little fuckers.

I'll get the Mrs to get the hatching pictures onto the PC tonight though and have a go at uploading onto here.
