Post by: broomfield on Thursday, April 24, 2008, 11:54:47
I notice that the report on yesterdays reserve game against AFCB states that we had a trialist playing.

Any one know any more on this??

Thats for a Third Division Scottish side, so lower than Conference level so I hope not - isn't it East Stirling he plays for?

Scottish divisions 1-3 teams are allowed to field a maximum of 3 (i think) trialists in a match. Thats why it comes up with A Trialist when one of said trialists scores.

Playing it safe there me thinks  :D

I don't think it would be a disaster if a few SPL players came in.

Intersting, however central midfielder i'm surprised at.  Least Maurice is keeping his options open should Timlin decide not to sign for some reason.

He's got dreads and so therefore must be an awesome player, FACT!!!!

Some sites have him down as a striker and so I guess he is an attacking/goal scoring midfielder.

Ace.

He sounds pretty good. Must have a bit of talent if he's been involved with Senegal and had trials for Prem clubs. Creative as well. Just what we need.

This would be good signing because if him, Comminges, and Kanyuka all got selected for their respective national sides we'd then be able to call off games due to international call-ups.

Have we ever been able to do that before? And if not, would that make Malpas our best ever manager?
