I used to hate Sunday evenings as a kid, always school the next day. I love them at the moment though, proper chillaxed out times. I've been a bit quiet on the tef over the late part of this week. Haven't even read every thing :shock: .

i have. but i've got college tommorow after two weeks off booooooooo. Should really have done more work than i have. Ah well, i'll live.

 I really used to hate Sunday evenings when I was a kid....all you got on the box, was religious shows till about 8:00.  TBF the folks never bothered with that, instead opting for a hideous radio show called Sing Something Simple.

 It consisted of a sort of small choir crooning popular tunes of the 50's....the theme tune though did come in handy for a TE chant....sing something simple you simple twats.

 I used to lie in the bath and listen to Pick of the Pops...which was the top 20 on radio.

  Things picked up later....thank the Lord for Brucie.  What a star.  Sunday Night at the London Palladium..oh those Tiller Girls

I've only got the main 4 channels in my room at the moment. My ariel construction has lost it's alignment.

Ebdon's genius Snooker attempt yesterday was a bit harsh. Getting the White in behind the Black only for the Pink to trickle into the middle pocket was harsh.

Dad used to get this huge paper map of the world out between dinner and Rhubarb Crumble pudding and we used to try and find all the places that had been mentioned.

Seems a little bit square now but to a 7 year old it was awesome

I can't imagine sitting around and listening to the radio. The radio has become something I listen to whilst doing something else.

In today's land of constant media consumption, I've realised I rarely have less than two things on at the same time. If there's something I really want to watch (latest southpark, My Name Is earl, or something I've just downloaded) then I'll have it on with nothing else. But a lot of the time I'll have two or more things going on. Like at the moment I'm listening to some tunes over youtube whilst half watching the telly and typing this pile of bollocks.

Not sure if it's good or bad for our brains, this constant stream of information.

Exactly, we're approaching a new age.

It's only a matter of time before we just all plug are selves in to the constant media stream, it will be a two way thing. We'll all just communicate through blogs and internet forums.

It's a place we're approaching anyway. We're constantly being told that the outside world is a scary place, it's much safer to meet similar minded people on the tinterweb.

The problem is that your beliefs will never be challenged. Your only friends could be from the Daily Mail Subscribers Society. That can't be good.

had a trip down to scumville today to watch my lad play.he got a heavy challenge early on from one of their lads which fucked both me and him off.
"let the cunt have a bit"was the call from myself,not that it was needed.a few mins later the boy in question was sprawled on the floor after a ball and player challenge with a nice bit of verbal"you fucking twat" from my son.right on the touchline,nice!
soon after another stonking tackle on their centre forward drew applause from the visiting supporters and tears from the no9 :soapy tit wank: .
2-2 it finished. but the desire and application was nice to see from our boys.

I'm scared to get my eyes tested. I've got a horrible feeling that I might need glasses. Apart from the colour-blindness, as a kid my eye sight used to always get a massive thumbs up from the optician. I think that years of constant tef reading may have taken it's toll. A toll like a troll on a bridge. A bridge on which a goat may want to take a crossing. A crossing which could be deadly to a goat. A goat which is a clever bastard and leaves my eyesight fucked.
