from a Goan friend of mine that alot of Goan indians are Portugese,sorry if i appear dim but that really surprised me,his sirname is Fernandez and i didnt know that Goa was once a Portugese nation,and alot of the older folk still have dual Indian,Portugese passports,in any case it sounds a great country,but a poor one hence alot of Goans working away from home.

i know many goans, all great people, and all very portuguese in heritage.

Which is why in Swindon all the Goan kids go to St Joe's.

I don't think it's any sort of ridiculously unknown trivia. If you want to start a thread everytime you're ignorant about something then fair enough, but I'd imagine that if everybody on here did, then the forum would get bogged down pretty quickly.

On the ignorant knowledge front, I didn't know or care that numerous films I've seen were based on books, there's always been lot's of songs which were covers that I didn't know. Normally if it's good knowledge then I tell every body as much as I can. Like Gloria Jones and Tainted Love.

Oh and I actually do like Kanye West's effort over the Daft Punk effort. That's also a top tune, took me a while to not hate it though.
