get to cancun airport and get local bus to playa de carmen for a bout £2 change at playa de carmen bus station for bus to tulum cost another £2 taxi from tulum to don armandos abut £3 this whole journey should take an hour and a half from airport don armandos is on tulum beach its fucking paradise. your own palm tree cocconut house for a bout a fiver a night, its basic but fucking beautiful. armandos does good cheap food and cocktalils til 3 amm every morning. drin k corona on beach for a pound a bottle from little shacks playing mexican reegae all day. you really dont get better. I don't know what your budget is but don't get a package tour, instead just get a flight and I could sort out your accommodation at my end, saving you a mint in the process. It is VERY f'in hot here at the mo, even hot by Thai standards. Also Songkran is getting closer, which is basically when the entire country has one giant fuck-off water fight to celebrate their new year. I stay in behind locked doors myself now, although my first 2/3 times I found it dead fun, it really is mentalist.
