I've only listening to a couple of minutes so far - I've go too much work to do at the moment - but that is very interesting. Congratulations to everyone involved.

The puns aren't as good/bad as The Grauniad's James Richardson though.
I loved the old Football Italia where Milan were trailing Juve on the last day by three points and he announced it on C4 at 10am as the 'tighest climax since Last Tango In Paris'.

Major thanks are due to Dave Byrne for this btw, he gave up a fair chunk of his own time to do it and I think there's some really interesting insights into the formation, how coaches see the game etc. And Iris and Rob were brilliant!

Byrne's comment about Arsenal not liking the opposition "snapping at their heels 24/7 for 90 mins"  is a total classic. I don't know Iris but Nick Park should do her in the next Creature Comforts.  Really good listen and I'm looking forward to part 2.

Just listened to the pod cast and I think the first thing that struck me was how professional it was not just chucked together.

I thought it was very well done and very informative. Well done to everyone involved and great credit must go to David Byrne. Hopefully, if any of the 'haters' can be bothered to listen to it, they will realise that the tactics that have been employed and the positional changes which have been made recently are not totally random. They have actually been done for a reason and a lot of thought has gone into them.

very good work.  I still don't agree with his reasons for taking Macca off at LO, but Dave B came across well, although the term "punter" grates with me.

I'm listening right now (about 15 mins in).  I think it's the first time I've ever heard the inside track from a member of the playing staff...absolutely brilliant.

More of this please, and well done to Paul, Andy, Rob & Iris.  We've been crying out for better communication and now we're getting it.  It's like glasnost all over again, 20 years later.
