Title: DVD Rewriter for my laptop - advice needed Post by: donkey on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, 19:24:18 Asking for advice again...this time from pooter bods.
My laptop's dvd rewriter is no more, it has ceased to be (and so on). Rather than get it fixed, I thought I would get an external one and plug it in. I imagine this will be cheaper. Can anyone suggest one I can buy that will do the job at the cheaper end of the market? I bought a new one for my last laptop on eBay for £15 new and boxed/bagged. Easy as fuck to change, laptop drives just slip out.

Cheers Barry. Any particular make/model? I don't really know what I'm talking about clearly.
