has had an extra game put on top of his three match ban. anyone else think this is a bit mental? arsenal and chelsea fight any red card but mboro aren't allowed to?

ALSO

did anyone see the back page of the sun yesterday? with a picture of martin taylor training and words to the effect of- 47 hours after ruining eduardo's leg he's back in training doing ANOTHER studs up challenge"
-he's a pro football, he's meant to train, it's his job
-the picture was of his not sliding or throwing himself through the air, he's standing and poping out a leg to get a loose ball

i hate the FA and the sun

It was a stupid appeal though, he blatantly slapped Mascherano - ok it was a little tap, but still a slap and a red card.

Yes, the Sun is shit. Don't buy or look at it and you will be fine.

If he should have got sent off, the Liverpool player should have gone to as he initiated the first slap.

They should both have been booked and have done with it.

Oh and I agree the Sun is full off shite. Don't buy it, it is a waste of money

Isn't The Sun's sport editor an Arsenal fan? Kind of explains it all.

By the very girlie laws of the game today JA had to go, but Maschareno should have been punished for starting the "bloody minded violence" I mean feminine slap.

I know it dosnt really work like this but

Martin taylor - 3 matches for (IMO accedentally) ripping of Eduardo's foot

Ally Adiere - 4 matches for gently bitch slapping the monster masch :?

the whole bans thing need to be proportinate to the incident ... FA PLEASE REVIEW THIS!

a slap on the face should be 1 match ban
a leg breaking reckless challenge should be at least 6 or 7 games

So he should get an extra 3 or 4 games to normal because Eduardo's foot got stuck in the turf? Don't be ridiculous.

Had he meant to do it you might have a point

how can a bloke giving a slap no harder than a  2 year old in retaliation get banned for 4 games?.compared to a 3 game ban for a leg snapping studded lunge?

He deserves at least a 4-match ban for the sheer nonciness of the slap - if you're going to hit him, hit him. Either lay him out or don't bother.

Damn right.  It's similar to when I play football and I just catch an opposition player.  He starts to whinge, so I just tell him he'd know if I meant it.  Usually does the trick

Breaking Arsenal players legs should be rewarded.

If you manage both of an Arsenal players legs with one challenge you should get triple points or something.

Quote from: "Article"
The Hillsborough disaster did not only touch clubs in England but the disaster was known worldwide and touched clubs around the world.

On 19 April 1989 (the following Wednesday of the disaster), a European Cup semi final between AC Milan and Real Madrid was played. The referee blew his whistle 6 minutes into the game to stop play and hold a minute's silence for those who lost their lives tragically at Hillsborough. About 20 seconds into the silence the Milan fans on the Curva Sud began to sing Liverpool's anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" as a tribute to those who died

I never knew that. how touching.

Midlesborough think they are hard done by for getting an estra game, but ex Town loanee Sam Collins who was sent off during his first game for Hartlepool was also given an extra game suspension for making a frivolous appeal!!  Just shows the difference between the have's and the have nots, it didn't even warrant a mention in the papers!!

The Sam Collins situation differs for one reason, that appeal was truely frivolous due to the fact that he swung his elbow towards the other players face
