(Ignoring the driver!) Anyone know the answer? I thought it was 1386 but its not. Title: confused.com Post by: BANGKOK RED on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 14:53:20 9,604.

Title: confused.com Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:15:17 Pretty simple really:
49 cats = 196 legs 343 kittens = 1372 legs 7 girls = 14 legs Total = 1582 Title: confused.com Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:18:43 210 could be the answer actually
Title: confused.com Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:20:40 - There is a bus with 7 Girls on board
14 legs - Each girl carries 7 bags So 49 bags - Inside each bag there is 7 cats 49 bags each with 7 cats in is 343 cats - Every cat has 7 kittens each of those 343 cats has 7 kittens , so 2401 kittens - All cats have 4 legs each 10990 is what i have. But then 1386 would seem logical as it doesn't say the kittens are in the bags. I feel stupid and demand to know the answer. Title: confused.com Post by: Batch on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:24:51 Quote from: "ghanimah" 10990? That's correct isn't it. Remember Each girl has 7 bags. Which is 49 bags = 343 cats = 1372 legs. 343 cats * 7* 4 = 9604 kittens legs. + 14 legs belonging to the girls. Of course it doesn't say the kittens are in the bags with the cats, or that the girls have 2 legs, so you can make up your own answers. Edit. Screw you Barry Scott, I was working that out and you go an post before me :boohoo: Title: confused.com Post by: Sippo on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:26:06 10990 it is.

Title: confused.com Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:28:27 Doh, missed the 'each girl has seven bags' bit :x

In which case the answer is 0 Title: confused.com Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 15:37:56 Quote from: "Batch" Quote from: "ghanimah" 10990? That's correct isn't it. Screw you Barry Scott, I was working that out and you go an post before me :boohoo: :D I posted then reread the original post and thought that it doesn't mention the kittens being with the cats. We both must've come to the same conclusion and edited roughly the same time. We're all winners. Title: confused.com Post by: axs on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 18:25:08 7 girls = 14 legs
7*7*7*4 = 1372 7*7*7*7*4 = 9604 Total = 10990 or: 49 Bags Each bag = (7*4)+(7*7*4) Bag = 224 *49 = 10976 + 14 legs on girls = 10990. Title: confused.com Post by: land_of_bo on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, 19:37:40 Those girls must be butch, carrying that many cats each!
